St Elphin’s Curriculum 2017

When the Government introduced a new national curriculum in 2014, it brought with it the opportunity to be more flexible in designing our own curriculum to meet the needs of our children here at St Elphin’s CE Primary School.  Three years further on, we have continued to develop and refine a personalised curriculum which enhaces the children's learning and enables them to become independent, successful learners. This year we are delighted to be introducing "What if ..." Learning as a means of encouraging our children to develop a Christian value perspective to concepts and skills, across the curriculum.

The decisions we made came from a starting point of knowing our children and the needs of our school really well. The attached information highlights some of the key decisions we have made for this academic year.
