This year we held our very first Prayer Spaces Week.  This involved each class creating their own class prayer space during Collective Worship and then visiting the whole school PRAYER SPACE set up in the hall. The hall looked amazing and the children had opportunity to take part in 10 different interactive prayer space activities. These included themes about asking God to help, praying for the World, asking questions, being thankful, experiencing peace, saying sorry, asking for forgiveness, handing worries over to God, understanding how unique and wonderful they are and exploring injustice through homelessness. The children really loved being in the prayer space and we ended up opening it over lunchtime on Friday as so many children wanted to re-visit and take part in the activities again. Above are some of the prayers and comments that the children made during their visit to the prayer space, along with some pictures of the spaces created in class. We have several more pictures to upload showing the activities the children took part in but photo permissions need checking first so please be patient!

A huge thanks to Mrs Williams for inspiring us all with the prayer space ideas and for setting up such a wonderful prayer space in the hall.
