School Meals
If you have a child in Reception, Y1 or Y2 they will be eligible to a universal free school meal and they will be provided free of charge.
If your child or children are in Y3 to Y6, school meals are charged at £2.80 per day unless you are eligible for free school meals. If you think you might be eligible for free school meals please complete the application form below and return it to the school office or directly to the school meals team at the local authority. Alternatively the school office can print one for you if necessary.
In order to pay for school meals you will need to log in to the ParentPay website to activate and load money on your ParentPay account as school is no longer able to accept cash payments for school meals. If you require any assistance with this then please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
At St Elphin’s we are a “cashless school”.
Since September 2018 we have been using a secure online system called ParentPay for:
- School Trip Consent/Money
- School Uniform items
- Year 3 – Year 6 - Dinner money
ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.
You will have a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password which can be obtained from the Office, you will be prompted to change these, and to keep them safe and secure. If you already have a ParentPay account for an older sibling you can simply click “Add child”.
When you log into ParentPay you will have 2 main bars on your homepage a blue bar for School Meals and a yellow bar for “other items” this will be where all school trips and uniform items are listed.
We hope you will support us in achieving our goal to become a cashless school and reduce the workload on our staff. Your support in using ParentPay will help the school enormously, thank you.
